You'd mentioned it in the original post too! I work for an anti-poverty organisation and I have to write the newsletter. This involves researching current stories and finding out what people are saying about them...sometimes I just sit with my head in my hands wondering where on earth we are going. Everything is always somebody else's fault. I think that a lot of us just don't realise how lucky we are.

PS you can always watch this film on You Tube, the quality's not bad. Look out for Arthur from On The Buses too!Sarah Miller Waltershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05805232899121144274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2454758303045409377.post-11541054144903689232012-08-18T01:54:01.438-07:002012-08-18T01:54:01.438-07:00Great stuff. I've not seen this film before but did buy it on DVD for my other half a few years ago; frustratingly, she's not got round to watching it yet so it's still sitting there on the shelf taunting me from within the confines of its shrinkwrap!

It is amazingly frustrating discovering how breathtakingly ignorant some people are when you delve into the world of the internet comment (not this one hopefully). And as you say, there's a lot of intoerance and delusion out there. The grass is definitely not always going to be greener on the other side. In reality we're so lucky to be living at this exact point in history. I really wouldn't have fared well in the past!Kippershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00204054692989383519noreply@blogger.com
